Re-Imagining Connection

3D4D by Chicago Sculpture International, located at 1912 N Damen, opened its first group exhibition, Re-Imagining Connection, Friday June 18, 2021, with a crowd that spilled out onto the sidewalk to watch a performance by artist Helen Lee. This exhibition showcases works expressing the sensibilities of our inherent human nature and our desire to connect.

The exhibition features sculptural works by nine Chicago artists: Janet Austin, Zach Balousek, Darlys Ewoldt, Yvette Kaiser Smith, Ricardo Mondragon, Christine Perri, Gina Lee Robbins, Michele Silvetti-Schmitt, John T. Upchurch. The exhibit is co-curated by Pia Cruzalegui and Bryan Northup.

Special guest performance art: “Mending Cocoons in a Butterfly War” by Helen Lee
